About my art.

My art is not big, nor is it loud. It's small, it’s gentle, sometimes moody. It doesn't shout, it whispers and hums.

Quiet, muted, and always a little unresolved — semi-abstract enough to leave room for your interpretation. What you see on paper isn't the whole story.

The rest is yours to finish, with whatever you bring to it.

About me.

A quiet child, I grew up on a small island off the northwestern coast of Norway, surrounded by water and endless skies. I could always be found with my nose in a book, or deep into creating — drawing, painting, sewing, whatever the day called for. I made things because it was easier than not making things.

Nature has always been my safe space, and still is. When life gets stressful, or painful, or simply too much, it's where my mind can finally be still. Painting offers me a similar sense of stillness and gentle focus. I think that's why landscapes often find their way into my art.

There's a reason I keep returning to watercolour: it can never quite be controlled. You learn its moods, you understand its habits, but you're never fully in charge. It’s a lesson in letting go of perfectionism, and I like that.

By day, I run my own solo branding practice. But painting is mine.

And maybe, if something here speaks to you, a little bit yours too.
